Video | 13 Teams Participate In Twilight 10s Blitz For Colleges

The Munster Rugby Development Department recently hosted a Twilight 10’s blitz at Old Crescent RFC with colleges from across the province getting involved.
With an emphasis on participation, the 10-a-side teams played an adapted version of the game to make the blitz accessible for new players with the event proving a great success.
There were 13 teams in total involved as eight men’s teams from five colleges and four women’s teams from four colleges participated.
The Twilight 10s blitzes have been organised over the past number of years. Along with giving college students the opportunity to play rugby, the blitzes can also provide a springboard for colleges who may wish to participate in the SSI/IRFU Rugby Competitions later in the year.
