The beginning of Munster’s Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship campaign is less than a fortnight away as Niamh Briggs’ squad continue their training ahead of their opening game on January 7th.

Last week, Briggs named a 34-woman squad for January’s Interpros with Munster kicking off their title defence with the visit of Ulster to Musgrave Park.

As the squad prepare for that opening game, we caught up with some members of the squad to discuss how preparations are going ahead of the beginning of the competition.

Alana McInerney, who debuted for the Munster Senior Women side last year, spoke to Munster Rugby and she believes the new players in the squad are settling in well ahead of their first Interpro campaign.
