The finalists of this year’s Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup were decided with Cork Constitution and Garryowen to contest the final on 19th December, while Midleton will play Old Crescent in the final of the Cyril Fitzgerald Plate.

Cork Constitution defeated U.L. Bohemian 38-19 at Temple Hill to book their final place. David Hyland, George Good, Sean Condon and Peter Hyland were try scorers for Cork Con’ and Dylan Hicks kicked four conversions. Liam O’Shanahan replied with two tries for U.L. Bohs and Evan Lacey one. Cian Casey kicked two conversions.

A late converted try gave Garryowen a 31-25 victory against Nenagh Ormond at Dooradoyle. Oli Ayling scored two tries for Nenagh and Jack O’Keeffe one. Jonty Stewart added two conversions and two penalties.

Midleton defeated Cashel 29-14 in the semi-final of the Cyril Fitzgerald Plate at the Tipperary venue. Alejandro Martinez Jiménez gave Midleton an early lead with a try. Cashel hit back to lead 14-5, before Jiménez scored his second try and Hunter Cowan converted to leave the hosts 14-12 ahead at half time. Seamus Lyne put Midleton back in front with a penalty and two late tries from Joannes du Toit and Tom Roche, both converted by Lyne earned Midleton a surprising victory.

At Virgin Media Park, Old Crescent defeated Dolphin 26-10. Timmy Duggan, Jamie Duggan, Declan Aylward and Joe Richard were the Old Crescent try scorers. Ben Daly kicked three conversions. Richie Heaslip replied with a try for Dolphin and Conor Mulvihill kicked a conversion and a penalty.
