A view of the national school blitz day in Dungarvan RFC
Our Club and Community Rugby Officers (CCROs) have been busy these past months with blitz days taking place across the province.
Check out some of the things they have gotten up to below.
Abbeyfeale RFC Fun Day
It was a day of fun in the sun for St. Marys Boys School as they were hosted in Abbeyfeale RFC by CCRO Aine Reidy.
Aine put them through their paces with a number of fun games and even a water fight to cool down afterwards.
The students had an absolute blast taking part in challenges that were catered towards all abilities, allowing everyone to get involved.

Dungarvan National School Blitz
It was all go in Dungarvan RFC earlier this month as they hosted a well attended National School Blitz.
There were six schools from the area in attendance and they even had Tom Ahern drop by to play a few games and answer their burning questions in a Q&A.

Virgin Media Park National School Blitz Day
A number of Cork based National Schools gathered in the hallowed grounds of Virgin Media Park this month for another well attended blitz day.
Hosted by Cork Rugby Participation Officer, Vincent O’Leary, the blitz welcomed five teams to the stadium. It was a fantastic day with a great standard of rugby being played.

Nenagh Community School Blitz Day
Nenagh Community School hosted their own blitz day earlier this month with the help of Nenagh Ormond CCRO Nathan O’Meara.
The tag rugby blitz was an opportunity for all of the school to get involved no matter what level of rugby experience they had.
