Leinster U18 Girls 28 – 14 Munster U18 Girls

It was not to be for Damien Hicks’ side in today’s PWC Age-Grade Interpros as they were narrowly defeated 28-14 in Mullingar RFC.

Leinster got on the score sheet early as Sophie McDonagh touched down twice as did captain Emily Miller to put the side 21 points ahead in the first half.

But Munster fought back and scored some fantastic tries of their own through Charlotte Deegan and Emer Purtill. Richmond-Scariff’s Eden Waters was once again 100% off the tee to bring the half time score to 21-14.

But Leinster’s Siofra McGlynn’s crashed over in the final moments of the game to secure the win for the home side with a final score of 28-14.
