New Referees Course Kicks Off This Weekend

The search for new referees is underway with the next course for new members of the Munster Association of Referees (MAR) taking place in Highfield RFC on Saturday September 5th.

The MAR currently has over 130 active referees with two currently working within the professional game. Since their previous course earlier this year there are now 11 new referees across the province. Three of which are female.

With different levels of games available to ref, those who complete the course can choose to work the games they are most comfortable with.

The MAR is giving you the opportunity to experience the game from a whole new perspective.

Put yourself right in the middle of the action and grow your understanding of the game.

– What is required of you as a referee.
– Pre-match routines
