The Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Talent Camps are currently underway with U16, U17, U18 and U19 talent squads settling into their summer programmes this week.

As part of the Munster Age-Grade Player Development Programme, the talent camps kicked off with players set to benefit from professional facilities at the University of Limerick and Cork Institute of Technology over the summer months.

The talent camp programme includes on-pitch activities, strength and conditioning sessions as well as nutritional and player welfare tutorials.

The Munster Women and U18 Girls development programme got underway on Tuesday at both Limerick and Cork venues respectively.

The Talent Identification Programme (TIP) continues into its second season with eight players aged 19-21 set to develop their skills alongside the Munster Women’s programme.

All talent camps will incorporate preparations for the upcoming interprovincial campaigns commencing in the coming months while also giving players, coaches and management a unique opportunity to familiarise themselves with their squads.

Throughout the camps, it is envisaged that players will be identified for future development programmes as part of Munster Rugby’s overall objective to build for the future.

News and updates from the Bank of Ireland Talent Camps will be shared across Munster Rugby channels over the coming weeks.
