U15 Emerging Schools Blitz Held In UL

An U15 Emerging Schools Blitz was held in UL last week which saw seven schools compete on the day.

The blitz took place at the UL Pavilion last Thursday which saw the teams play 11-a-side rugby with 150 players involved.

The schools which competed on the day included CBS Nenagh, Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh, Ennistymon Community School, Scoil Pól Kilfinane, St Ailbe’s, Scoil Mhuire agus Íde and Scoil Mhuire Kanturk.

A number of Munster Rugby staff including Gerry Casey, Bryan Murphy, Nathan O’Meara and Ray Gadsden facilitated the blitz on the day. All schools played four games each across two pitches.

The Rugby Development department would like to thank the schools and teachers for their continued support.
