St Munchin’s Overcome St Clement’s To Reach Junior Cup Semi-Finals

St Munchin's go through to the semi-finals of the Schools Junior Cup Colbert O Sullivan

St. Munchin’s are the first side through to the semi-finals of the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup following a 60-6 win over St. Clement’s on the back pitch of Thomond Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Munchin’s got off to a quick start when prop Kieran Ryan crashed over the line for a try which Darragh Long converted.

Tries from Donnacha O’Callaghan and Dylan Higgins both converted by Long made it 21-0 after eleven minutes.

Two tries from Kevin Sheehy and a try and two conversions by Long made it 40-0 to Munchin’s at half-time.

Josh Costello, O’Callaghan (2) and Conor O’Shaughnessy added further tries for Munchin’s.

Clement’s rallied with two late penalties from Cian Casey.
