South Munster J2 Friday Night Lights

The South Munster J2 Friday Night League kicked-off last week with nine clubs, including Bandon, Cork Constitution, Cobh Pirates, Highfield, Midleton, Old Christians, Dolphin, UCC & Muskerry all taking part.

The league has a default time of 7.30pm and all but two clubs have the facility to host games under lights, with all teams playing both home and away.

Many clubs throughout Munster have invested in floodlights and the league acts as an opportunity to develop investments while also generating revenue.

The idea around the league is to provide players and teams with the opportunity to play at a time more suited to their schedules.
