Cork Constitution moved into second place in the All Ireland League as Shannon retain top spot in Division 1B.

Cork Constitution recorded a bonus point 26-0 win over bottom side Buccaneers at Temple Hill in Division 1A of the All Ireland League. Tries by Joe White and Sean Duffy and a conversion by Aidan Moynihan gave the home side a 12-0 interval lead. Luke Cahill and Ned Hodson add tries after the break and Moynihan converted both.

Shannon remain top in Division 1B after their 25-3 home win over Naas on the back pitch at Thomond Park. Stephen Fitzgerald, Duncan Casey and Aaron Hehir scored tries for Shannon, who led 13-3 at half time. Conor Fitzgerald kicked two conversions and two penalties.

U.L. Bohemian moved off the foot of the table with a 17-15 away win at Donnybrook against Old Wesley. The home side led 12-3 at half time with Jamie Hart kicking a penalty for UL Bohes. Mike Lynch and Noel Kinnane added second half tries and Hart converted both to give the visitors the spoils.

In Division 2A Highfield had to battle hard for their 17-10 victory over City of Armagh at Woodleigh Park to record their eight successive victory.

The sides were level 7-7 at half time with Mick Dillane and Timmy Ryan scoring Highfield’s tries and Paddy O’Toole converted both and added a penalty.

Midleton are battling relegation in Division 2C after they lost away to Malahide 32-10. Despite playing into a strong wind in the opening half Midleton trailed 15-10 at half time with a try from Michael Cronin and a conversion and penalty by Stuart Lee. However Malahide dominated the second half to run out comfortable winners.
