Munster Rugby are holding an Inclusion Camp in Ballincollig RFC this August to provide children with all disabilities, aged between 6 and 12, with three fun-filled days of rugby.

The camp is focused on adapting rugby to meet the needs of camp attendees to maximise their enjoyment.

This years camp will take place in Ballincollig RFC from the 6th-8th of August.

It is a great opportunity for children of all abilities to get together, make friends and try something new.

  • Maximise enjoyment;
  • Be all-inclusive;
  • Optimise learning;
  • Create friendships;
  • Improve rugby skills.

What to expect on the Munster Rugby Inclusion Camp

  • Every attendee gets an Adidas Munster Rugby T-shirt and a Munster drawstring bag;
  • Top quality coaching from IRFU accredited and experienced coaches;
  • Our camp staff have completed IRFU Safe Rugby Level 1 and the World Rugby First Aid in Rugby. No nursing or medical administration will be available on site;
  • Terms and conditions as per Summer Camp Terms and Conditions.

What is expected from parents?

  • Upon booking all parents are asked to complete an ‘About Me’ profile on their child so that we can tailor the coaching children will receive on the camp to maximise participation and enjoyment. The Parents Information Pack which included the ‘About Me’ Profile can be found here.
  • Our inclusion camp will have enough coaches and assistants present that parents do not need to stay for the duration of the camp. However, if you feel you would like to stay to support your child, you are more than welcome once you inform the Camp Manager.

If you have any further questions, please contact Munster Rugby’s Ray Gadsden at raygadsden@munsterrugby.ie or Spirit Officer Emily O’ Leary at emilyoleary@munsterrugby.ie.
