Munster players Rhys Marshall and Dan Goggin recently joined Munster referee Joy Neville for a day of rugby at Newport College, Tipperary.
The Munster representatives were invited to talk about their sporting journeys as part of the school’s Active Week.
The theme of the week was ‘Women in Sport’ with Joy sharing her rugby story with 130 students while Rhys and Dan also spoke about inspirational figures in women’s sport.
Munster Rugby Development Officer Gerry Casey organised the event with the support of Newport College.
The visit was one of several made recently by Munster players in support of club, school, community and charity initiatives across the province.
