McCarthy Names Munster U18 Girls Squad

Head Coach Eugene McCarthy has named his Munster U18 Girls Squad to take part in the Interprovincial series commencing on Saturday, 23^rd September.

Munster will kick their campaign off with a home fixture against Leinster at Ballincollig RFC before travelling to Ballinasloe on Saturday, 30^th September to take on Connacht.

Their final match will take place on Saturday, 7^th October against defending champions Ulster away at Barnhall.

McCarthy has named an experienced squad with 13 players included that were part of last season’s panel.

The squad, captained by Emily Lane have been training three days a week since the beginning of May throughout various venues in the province.

Lane, also an accomplished sevens player, recently captained the Ireland U18 Girls Sevens Squad to victory at the recent UK School Games Rugby 7’s at Loughborough University.
