Irish Independent Park Hosts Munster Women’s Cup Finals

Irish Independent Park will host two Cup finals on Easter Sunday, 21 April, when Ballincollig meet Shannon in the Munster Women’s Division 1 Cup final and UL Bohemian face off against Thurles in the Munster Women’s Cup final.

Ballincollig pushed past Bantry Bay in the first round before defeating Thurles in the last four to secure their place in the Women’s Division 1 Cup final.

Shannon recorded an impressive win against Carrick-On-Suir in the first round before overcoming Tralee in the semi-finals to book their spot in the final alongside Ballincollig.

In the Women’s Cup competition, Thurles defeated Ballincollig in the opening round and Carrick-On-Suir in the last four.

UL Bohemian overcame Tralee to reach the Cup final with this year’s All Ireland Women’s Cup champions also bidding to claim a three-in-a-row AIL Women’s title when they meet Railway Union in Donnybrook next Saturday, 27 April.
