Deadline For Applications For Sports Capital & Equipment Programme Extended

The deadline for applications for the 2020 Round of the Sports Capital & Equipment Programme has been extended

The deadline for applications for the 2020 Round of the Sports Capital & Equipment Programme has been extended to 5pm on Monday, 1 March.

The extension is designed to assist any clubs who may be encountering difficulties finalising their applications due to COVID-related restrictions.

Grants are available to voluntary, not-for-profit sports clubs, community groups, National Governing Bodies (NGB’s) of sport and local authorities. Third level colleges, Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and schools may only apply for funding jointly with sports clubs or organisations (Government of Ireland only).

For clubs wishing to begin their application, they must first register with the Online Sports Capital Register (OSCAR).

For more information, please review this presentation provided by the IRFU which provides an overview of the application process and the projects which are eligible for funding.

The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media have also provided this guide to submitting an application.

For any specific questions which are not covered in the above guides, please email SportsCapitalProgrammes@tcagsm.gov.ie.
