Countdown to Summer Scrummage

If you haven’t already booked your place in the Ulster Bank Summer Scrummage rugby camps, now is the time to sign up! With 20 camps taking place throughout Munster this summer, there’splenty of opportunity to get involved.

Twenty Ulster Bank Summer Scrummage Camps take place throughout Munster this summer, commencing in July. They are open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 and will include player appearances on the last day of the camp, along with special appearances from the popular mascot, Spud-bud!!

The much favoured mascot has come to life this year and will be making appearances at the camps this year to add another element of fun. The five-day camps will be run from 9.30am to 1.30pm each day, between July 2nd and August 24th and will be staffed by qualified IRFU coaches. The professionally supervised activities will be child-centred, taking into consideration the capacities and needs of each young player. The activities will focus on team spirit, encouraging the development of the players through active guidance, with players learning predominantly through playing and fun activities.

Each participating child will receive an official Ulster Bank IRFU Canterbury Summer Scrummage Gear Pack including back pack, t-shirt, shorts, socks, rugby ball, poster and a certificate of attendance.

For further information, to receive an Ulster Bank Summer Scrummage brochure, or to book a place on one of the Ulster Bank Summer Scrummage camps, call into any Ulster Bank branch or log onto ulsterbank.ie or irishrugby.ie
