6th Class Blitz Held In Mitchelstown RFC

Mitchelstown RFC, with the support of Munster Rugby, recently held a blitz for 6th class students.

76 children took part on the day from three different schools in the area; CBS Primary Mitchelstown, Kildorrery National School and Ballygiblin National School.

Munster Rugby CCRO Vincent O’Leary organised the event on the day with assistance from Mitchelstown RFC members Joe, Marie, Stephen and Harry.

Students from CBS Secondary School Mitchelstown refereed the matches on the day.

The day was an enjoyable one for all, particularly for those who were playing rugby for the first time.
