Munster are back at Thomond Park this weekend as five-time winners Toulouse visit Limerick for our opening game of the 2022/23 Champions Cup.

The teams will be named before 12pm on Friday with ticket sales passing the 20,000 mark earlier this week.

Did you know?

Munster and Toulouse share the record for the most Champions Cup quarter-final appearances (19).

The sides have met eight times previously in the competition with Munster winning four of the eight. Toulouse have beaten Munster three times and also won the place-kicking competition after last year’s drawn quarter-final.

The French side won 40-33 in a thrilling last 16 clash behind closed doors at Thomond Park in 2021.

Toulouse are five points clear at the top of the Top 14 after eight rounds.
