New York Event

The New York City Friends of Munster Fundraising Dinner takes place annually at the New York Athletic Club with the 2023 event being held on Thursday, October 5.

Every year the dinner fundraises for the community game within the province of Munster and the development the game of rugby.

Since the dinner began in 2018 it has raised funds and has contributed to the following projects,

• Club Community Rugby Officers (CCRO’S): these help clubs, schools, and communities to develop the game of rugby.
• Summer Camps and School tournaments within Munster that allow children to learn and develop the skills of rugby in a fun and safe environment.
• The donation of equipment such as jerseys, kit, and equipment for clubs.

We are delighted to say that this event has been extremely popular in New York and has sold out each year with over 300 people in attendance at each event.

On the night we will hear from some of Munster’s well-known legends, as well as a live and silent auction on a great night’s entertainment.

This year, a very special guest will also be in attendance as we will have the URC championship trophy on display on the night.
