The Munster A side has been named for Friday’s Interprovincial Series clash against Connacht Eagles at Dexcom Stadium (2pm).

Friday’s game is Munster A’s fifth of six matches in the competition after two draws with Leinster A and one win and one loss against Ulster A.

The Series will be completed at Ennis RFC in the return fixture against Connacht Eagles next Friday at 2pm with a live stream on Access Munster. Sign up for just €4 per month here.

Evan O’Connell captains Munster A and is one of 15 senior players named with nine Academy players and Young Munster’s Hubert Gilvarry also included in the 25-man squad.

Ben O’Connor, Thaakir Abrahams and Diarmuid Kilgallen start in the back three with Gordon Wood and Shay McCarthy in midfield.

Ethan Coughlan and Tony Butler are named in the half-backs.

Josh Wycherley, Max Clein and Conor Bartley pack down in the front row with O’Connell and Conor Ryan in the engine room.

A back row of Michael Foy, Ruadhán Quinn and Brian Gleeson completes the side.

Danny Sheahan, Mark Donnelly, Kieran Ryan and Roman Salanoa provide the front row back-up with Conor Kennelly and Oisín Minogue completing the forward cover.

Paddy Patterson, Tom Wood, Dylan Hicks and Gilvarry are the backline replacements.
