Referees
Referees
Refereeing is one of the most rewarding ways to be involved in rugby.
Whether you’re a former player, a coach, a parent, or completely new to the game, becoming a referee gives you a new perspective — and keeps you at the heart of the action.
Join The Munster Association Of Referees
The Munster Association Of Referees (MAR) are currently recruiting for new referees to take up a role throughout the province.
Whether you are looking to experience the game from a new perspective, build your knowledge through officiating, or simply just looking to get fit, refereeing has many benefits.
If you want to find out more information, or join the MAR, please reach out to IRFU Referee Development Manager Olly Hodges (olly.hodges@irfu.ie).
Next Course
The next course for new referees will be held on Saturday, 24th October at the Pavilion on the University of Limerick's North Campus.
The course begins at 12pm and if you would like to register or find out more information, please contact olly.hodges@irfu.ie or phone 086-8596289.
Alternatively, you can fill out the form below to register your interest.
Affiliate Referees
Affiliate Referees play a vital role in supporting rugby across clubs and schools throughout Ireland. Appointed by their own club or school when a Branch Referee is not available, Affiliate Referees help ensure that matches can take place in a safe, enjoyable and well-managed environment.
