New Years Day Magners League Clash v Ulster in Thomond Park

One euro from every ticket sold for Saturday’s Magners League game against Ulster will be split between three Charity organisations, Suicide Aware, TLC4CF (Cystic Fibrosis) and UNICEF.

As things stand the Charities are set to benefit to the tune of over €;20k as 19,500 tickets have already been purchased, with over 1,000 tickets sold over the Christmas period.

Today Munster Rugby also announced a novel initiative whereby the person who purchases the 20,011th ticket will win a *Hospitality Package to the Munster v London Irish Heineken Cup game in January.

Munster Rugby are urging people to support the interprovincial Magners League clash against Ulster, and the three worthy charities. Mick O’Driscoll, one of the Munster players closely involved in the initiative added “Having a formal structure to support three charities this season has helped both players and the organisation to make a real difference, and should do for future seasons.”

“I would like to thank our supporters again for rising to the challenge in supporting this game and our charities in such high numbers, please make it a really special day and donate a euro to the volunteers collecting as you leave Thomond Park”.
