See the video highlights and action shots as Munster suffered their first away league defeat of the season – away to Glasgow Warriors in round 10 of the Guinness PRO12.

Despite opening half tries from JJ Harahan and Robin Copeland and a commanding 9-18 lead at the interval, Munster failed to score in second 40, failing to execute opportunities and allowing Glasgow in for two unanswered tries from Leone Nakarawa and Jonny Gray respectively.

With Warriors’ 10 Finn Russell also on hand to land three penalties and one conversion throughout the game, the Glasgow-men made it three wins on the bounce over Munster, winning out on a 21-18 scoreline.

A disappointed Anthony Foley spoke after the game.
“We didn’t take our opportunities in the second half. This was a hugely disappointing result.”

“We came out in the second half, and they came really hard at us, and we withstood that, we created some opportunities, we didn’t take them to extend our lead.”

“They got a sniff of it with about 20 to go, and from there we were on our heels. Unfortunately for us, we didn’t finish this one off.

“When you’re away from home, as we’ve learned in recent times, when you create your opportunities you’ve got to take them. You’ve got to be ruthless, and we weren’t that tonight.”
