Ticket And Match Day Information – Munster v Edinburgh

Please find match day and ticket information here for all supporters travelling looking to travel to Thomond Park on Sunday.

Heineken Cup Round 6: Munster v Edinburgh, Thomond Park, Sunday 19th January 2014, ko 12.45pm.

Gates open at 10.45am.

Tickets

Less than 250 North Terrace tickets remain on sale for Munster v Edinburgh, and will be on sale from the Mobile Ticket Office at Hassett’s Cross from 10am-7pm today, 10am-6pm on Saturday and from 9am on match day (subject to availability).

The West Stand Ticket booth will open 10:45am on Sunday.

Please note if tickets are sold out by Saturday then the Ticket Office will not open on Saturday, and the Mobile Ticket Office at Hassett’s Cross will be open for collections and enquiries only from 9am on Sunday.

Travel

Park and Ride will be in operation from the following locations:

Kilmurry Lodge Hotel: Buses to Thomond Park starting @ 10am
Radisson Blu Hotel: Buses to Thomond Park starting @ 10.30am
Woodlands Hotel, Adare: Bus to Thomond Park leaving @ 11.30am
South Court Hotel @ 10:15am

The Public Bus operates from Henry Street starting at 10:45am.

Supporters can pre-book their parking online for the Q-Park at Harvey’s Quay online at www.q-park.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.

Event Information

Come early, bring your flags and wear red! Our MRSC volunteers will be giving out some Munster flags, but if you have some at home don’t forget to bring them!

The team will start their warm up at 12:20 so we are calling on supporters to get there early and make your presence felt!

The match entertainment features Cara O’Sullivan, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir and Two Seven Brass Band. The Choir will also make an appearance on Level C of the West Stand before the game.

Half-time: We look forward to welcoming the U11’s from Nenagh Ormond RFC and Tralee RFC. It will be Boys v Girls in a fun Zorb race on the pitch at half time, with Munster supporters testing their fitness and speed!

The Dug Out Bar will be opening at 10am, with breakfast on offer, and a live band pre and post-match. Live 95fm will be there before the game cranking out the tunes!

Match programmes will be on sale inside and outside the stadium costing €;5. The digital version will be available to download on Saturday via Newstand on apple devices.

Stadium Information

There are numerous bar and catering facilities within Thomond Park, all open at 10.45am.

The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium on Sunday – East Stand store open 11am-5pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand 11am-4.30pm.

The Museum is open on match day until 30 mins before kick-off, admission only €;3.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
