Match Day Information

Please find all relevant match day information for the upcoming Heineken Cup fixture Munster v Castres, Saturday, 14th January, ko 3.40 pm.

Gates will open at 1.40pm. Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – 12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket. View plan of Thomond park here.

Tickets

Please note this match is sold out. Supporters are advised to come early for ticket collections in order to avoid lengthy queues in the run-up to kick-off.

Season ticket holders – please note the allocated match ticket is Heineken Cup Match 3.

Travel

Please try to arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:

Kilmurry Lodge Hotel starting from 12.30 pm

Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road starting from 1.30 pm

Raheen Ryans Centra starting from 1.30 pm

Woodlands Hotel Adare starting at 2.45 pm

There is a public bus service operating directly from Limerick City centre to Thomond Park Stadium from 1.40 pm, picking up outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry Street, with a return service following the game.
Supporters can pre-book their parking online for Q-Park Harvey’s Quay at www.q-park.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium but parking is available at all city centre car parks.

Pre-Match

The Dug Out bar will be open from 1.40 pm with promotions from Live 95fm. There are numerous bars and catering facilities within Thomond Park, all open at 1.40pm.

On pitch entertainment starts at 3pm, and features Cara O’Sullivan, Ryan Morgan, the MRSC Choir and Arcana.

Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;5.

The Thomond Park Stadium Museum will be open on match-day from 1.40pm to 3.40pm with admission only €;3.

Stadium Information

Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
