Munster Schools Rugby Tour to England 2004/05

Twenty six players have been nominated to represent Munster Schools in the two match tour of England from 15th to the 17th October 2004.

The first match will be against Worcester Colts U. 19s in Worcester at 1900 on Friday evening, 15th October and the second game will be against the Gloucestershire Schools in Clifton at 1300, Sunday, 17th October.

TOUR SCHEDULE:

Thursday, 14th October 2004 16.00 Bus from Bishop’s Quay, Limerick to Wilton training ground. On the field for 18.00

18.00 Training session under the direction of Peter Melia, Munster Schools Coach.

19.30 Team Meeting in Wilton.

All non-Cork based players will be accommodated overnight with a meal provided.

Friday, 15th October 2004 09.00 Check in at Cork Airport for the whole group.

10.55 Aer Arann flight departs for Birmingham (Flight No. RE 401).

ALL PLAYERS ON THE TRAVELLING PARTY WEAR PLAYERS DRESS CODE, i.e. Polo Shirt and School Slacks.

12.25 Flight arrives at Bristol Airport.

12.45 Met by Ausden Clark Coaches. (Tel. 00 44 116 2629492). Go immediately to the Holiday Inn Hotel Gloucester/Cheltenham. Registration and room allocation.

14.20 Stretch session.

15.30 Lunch followed by Team Meeting at 16.00.

17.00 Arrive at ground for evening floodlit game v. Worcester Colts wearing Polo & Slacks

19.00 WORCESTER COLTS v. MUNSTER SCHOOLS

Post-match reception. Dress Code No. 1 for Adults – Blazers; for Players – Polo. Return to Hotel.

23.00 Supper at the hotel.

Saturday, 16th October 2004 Late breakfast. Relaxation. Meeting. Dress Code for Players – Polo. Light Workout Session. Afternoon time out. Use of bus for shopping and/or short tour. Evening Dinner. Dress Code for Players – Polo. Entertainment. Supper at 22.30.

Sunday, 17th October 2004 09.00 Sunday Morning Mass. Dress Code for Players – Polo 09.25 Breakfast. 10.45 Depart by coach from Hotel. Arrive at Clifton College wearing Polo and Slacks. Match preparation. 13.00 GLOUCESTERSHIRE SCHOOLS v. MUNSTER SCHOOLS. Post-match reception. Dress Code No. 1 for Adults – Blazers; for Players – Polo. After game and post-match reception, proceed by coach to Bristol Airport. 17.20 Check in at Bristol Airport for whole group. 19.10 Aer Arann flight departs for Cork (Flight No RE 434). All players wear Polo Shirt and School Slacks. 20.30 Flight arrives back in Cork Airport. Mini-bus to return players home to Limerick.

Adults Dress Code: No. 1: Blazer, off white shirt and Munster tie. No. 2: Polo Shirt. Players Dress Code: Polo Shirt and School Slacks.
