West Munster Schools Blitz

Munster Rugby recently held a 10 a side rugby blitz for 300 1st and 2nd year pupils from West Munster secondary schools.

The 1st year blitz consisted of 14 teams and was the first day out playing rugby for many of the participants.

This followed a 2nd year competition sponsored by Trophy World of Tralee who kindly donated a shield to the winners.

In a hard fought final between Tarbert Comprehnsive and SMI Newcastle West the competition was eventually won by the Tarbert side with an overall score of fifteen points to five.
