The Dr T.A. Neville UCC Rugby Referee Bursary Award

Applications are now open for the Dr T.A. Neville UCC Rugby Referee Bursary Award,
The Bursary aims to encourage participation and enhance the development of young student rugby referees for UCC Rugby and the Munster Association of Referees (MAR).
This Bursary is in memory of Dr T. A. Neville (1904-1999) and is co-funded by the Neville Family & John Fitzgerald.
The Bursary is valued at €1,000 and is awarded annually. The awardee will be an active member of UCC Rugby Club and MAR. They will referee and touch judge and attend MAR meetings and workshops during the season.
The 2024 recipient of the bursary was Jack Kingston. Jack is currently studying Financial Maths in UCC and is in his second year with the Munster Association Of Referees (MAR). Kingston also won the MAR Emerging Referee Of The Year for 2025 for his contributions on the pitch.
