Plenty of Schools Rugby Action in the Coming Days

It is a busy time in the Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Junior and Senior Cups in the next few days as well as finals in some of the minor School Cup competitions.

The action gets underway this afternoon at Rosbrien when Castletroy College face defending champions Crescent Comprehensive College in the Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Junior Cup.

The action continues tomorrow Wednesday 9th February with two games. Again at Rosbrien Ard Scoil Ris face P.B.C and C.B.C. play St. Munchin’s at Temple Hill and the last game in this round of the competition has Glenstal Abbey against Rockwell at Clanwilliam Park on Thursday.

There are two finals to be decided tomorrow Wednesday. Midleton College play Abbey CBS (Tipperary) at Clonmel in the final of the Mungret Shield, while Nenagh CBS and Charleville CBS meet in the O’Gorman Cup Final at Annacotty.

NOTE: All these games are dependent on the weather and it is possible that there could be postponements or venue changes.

Next Week old rivals Midleton College and Bandon Grammar meet in the quarter final of the Mungret Cup at the Towns Park, Midleton.

The quarter finals of the Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Senior Cup are all scheduled for next week. Venues have yet to be confirmed.

There are three games on Wednesday week (16th February), Rockwell play Ard Scoil Ris with Clanwilliam the likely venue.

Crescent Comp meet Castletroy at a Limerick venue and CBC will face Glenstal Abbey at a Cork venue.

On Thursday holders PBC will play St. Munchin’s at a Cork venue.
