Munster U18 Schools Squad Named For Leinster

The Munster U18 Schools side, sponsored by Trend Micro, has been named to take on Leinster in today’s interprovincial fixture at Thomond Park Stadium (ko 2.30 pm).

Head Coach Fiach O’Loughlin has made one change to the starting line-up that defeated Ulster away in his side’s opening fixture.

No. 8 Luke Clohessy, representing Ardscoil Rís, comes in to replace the injured Mark Fleming from Glenstal Abbey School.

Colin Deane from Bandon Grammar School will continue to lead the side at flanker and joins Crescent’s Daniel Feasey to complete the backrow.

The lock combination of CBC’s Cian Hurley and Crescent’s Fintan Coleman remain with CBC hooker Daniel O’Connor named alongside his school colleague Luke Masters at tighthead, and Cistercian College loosehead Josh Wycherley to complete the pack.

The half back combination of Craig Casey (Ardscoil Rís) and Ben Healy (Glenstal Abbey School) remain, with Luke Fitzgerald (Glenstal) and Seán French (PBC) selected at first and second centre respectively.

CBC’s J.D. O’Hea joins Glenstal’s Ben Moloney on the wing while PBC’s Jonathon Wren remains at full-back.
