Munster Girls Clubs Age-Grade League Preview

This weekend sees the 2025/26 Munster Girls Clubs Leagues kick off.

There are 18 teams taking part at both U16 and U18.5 levels this season.

Last season saw Clonakilty take the crown at U18.5 level after an end-to-end battle against fellow Cork side Ballincollig.

The West Cork side has been drawn in Conference Three this year, along with last year’s runners up Ballincollig.

Conference One of the U18 competition kicks off with Garryowen facing Kilrush in Dooradoyle Saturday at 10:30am.

Richmond-Scariff will face Ennis while Shannon welcome Bruff to Coonagh.

In Conference Two Waterpark welcome Fethard-Fermoy to Ballinakill on Sunday.

Clonmel-Carrick-on-Suir meet Kanturk while Ballina-Killaloe face Midleton-Youghal.

Ballincollig gets action underway in Conference Three as they take on and Killarney-Iveragh-Killorglin-Listowel in Tanner Park Friday night.

Dolphin-Mallow welcome Tralee to Virgin Media Park Saturday afternoon and in the final game of the weekend defending champions Clonakilty take on Skibbereen-Bantry Bay in The Vale on Sunday at 2:30pm.

Richmond-Scariff were crowned winners of last year’s U16 League as they beat Dunmanway-Bantry Bay 5-24 in Tanner Park.

Cashel gets action underway in Conference One as they welcome Midleton-Youghal to Cashel.

Fethard and District meet Dungarvan-Waterford in Fethard Town Park at 1pm this Saturday while Cobh Pirates meet Dolphin Sunday morning.

All three games in Conference Two will be played out this Saturday with Ennis kicking the day off at 11am as they face Nenagh Ormond-UL Bohemian-Old Crescent.

Shannon welcome Bruff to Coonagh while titleholders Richmond-Scariff host Garryowen-Ballina-Killaloe in Scariff with both games kicking off at 1pm.

In Conference Three Castleisland-Iveragh-Killarney-Killorglin welcome Ballincollig to Killarney in their 1pm kick off this Saturday.

Tralee make the trip to Bantry Sunday morning to meet Skibbereen-Bantry Bay while Clonakilty face Kinsale-Muskerry at 12:30pm.
