Munster Competition Winners Season 2013/14

As the season draws to a close we take a look at the overall Domestic Rugby competition winners for 2013/14.

Cork Constitution retained the Munster Senior Cup last December at Thomond Park going on to defeat Dublin side U.C.D. in Temple Hill to claim the All Ireland Bateman Cup for their second consecutive year.

It was a memorable season also for Junior 1 Division 1 league winners Kanturk who secured a play-off victory over Northern Ireland side Clogher Valley to gain promotion to the All Ireland League.

Clonmel, who followed Kanturk to finish second place in their league campaign, defeated fellow Tipperary Club, Clanwilliam, at Musgrave Park earlier this month to win the Munster Junior Cup for the first time in their history.

Eleven time competition winners Crescent College Comprehensive took the 105th SEAT Munster Schools Senior Cup title for the second year in a row defeating Ard Scoil Rís at Thomond Park in the first All Limerick final in history.

Their Junior side also made it to the SEAT Munster Schools Junior Cup Final but lost out to Cork school PBC at Temple Hill who claimed the title for a record 29th time.
