Munster Clubs Age-Grade Cup Finals Day Preview

The Munster Age-Grade Cup Finals kick off in Virgin Media Park tomorrow morning with four games taking place across the day.

Preview each of the matchups below

Munster Girls Clubs U16 Cup Final

The first game of the day will kick off at 11am tomorrow morning as Clonakilty face Richmond-Scariff in the Munster Girls Clubs U16 Cup final.

The West Cork outfit saw their way into their first final of the day by holding Bruff scoreless in their Quarter Final meeting. They then faced fellow Cork side Kinsale-Muskerry in the Semi Finals which they won 7-22.

Richmond-Scariff met Dungarvan-Waterpark in their first knock out game that they ran out winners in with a final score of 5-30 punching their tickets to a Semi Final meeting with Cobh Pirates which they also won 30-0.

The pairing will be a repeat of the League Final and will be down for decision at 11am in Virgin Media Park.

Munster Boys Clubs U16 Cup Final

Nenagh Ormond will take on Midleton in the first Boys Cup Final of the day.

Nenagh Ormond found themselves in joint first position in Group One with 20 points to their name before going on to defeat Ennis 12-14 to punch their ticket to the Semi Finals. They then took on Cobh Pirates in their Semi Final where they ran out winners with a final score 38-22.

While Midleton, who saw out the group stages in second place in Group Four, defeated fellow Cork outfit Kanturk 22-34, sending them into a Semi Final against Waterpark Black. The East Cork side secured a two point win with the game ending 10-12 to send them into the Final.

This pairing will kick off at 1pm.

Munster Girls Clubs U18.5 Final

Clonakilty RFC are into yet another final as back-to-back wins have put them into the U18.5 edition for the third year in a row.

The West Cork side defeated Ennis in their Quarter Final meeting which finished 19-30 which set them up to meet Carrick-on-Suir-Clonmel-Youghal in the Semi Final where they ran out 12-36 winners.

They will face the Kerry amalgamation, Killarney-Iveragh-Killorglin-Listowel, in the final.

The Kerry side defeated Bruff 5-36 to book their Semi Final spot. They then faced Shannon which they once again won comfortably with a final score of 29-7.

The Girl U18.5 Final will kick off at 3pm.

Munster Boys Clubs U18.5 Cup Final

Reigning Boys U18.5 champions Bandon will face Waterpark in the final fixture of the day.

Waterpark, who were the leaders in Group Two, saw off stiff competition from Kinsale in their Quarter Final where they took the win with a score of 21-10. They then went on to face Highfield in Woodleigh Park in an exciting Semi Final matchup where they ran out as winners with the game finishing 5-26.

2025 winners, Bandon, topped Group Four before setting up a Quarter Final meeting with Killarney which they comfortably won 33-12. Next up was a trip to Crosshaven to face the amalgamated Crosshaven-Cork Constitution which they won 11-31.

The Boys U18.5 Final will kick off at 5:15pm.
