Midleton College Defend Mungret Cup Title

Holders Midleton College will defend their Mungret Cup title against Bandon Grammar School tomorrow, 11th April at PBC, Wilton in Cork (kick-off 3pm).

Midleton College claimed a 3-0 victory over 2012 winners Bandon Grammar School last year to win the title.

This season Midleton College overcame Waterford’s Newtown School in the semi final while Bandon Grammar secured a win over St. Clements in book their final spot.

Bandon are coming off the back of a successful season qualifying as the ‘B’ school representative in the SEAT Munster Schools Senior Cup qualifying round, where there were narrowly defeated by Presentation Brothers College, Cork.
