Give It A Try Kicks Off This Week

Canterbury Give It A Try is an 8-week programme in selected clubs where girls aged 8-14 can learn to play rugby in a fun environment.
The 2025 programme has been launched with 27 clubs across the province to choose from. Sessions will commence from May 6th.
Great fun, lots of games and a gentle and gradual introduction to the game of rugby.
Now in its 9th year, former participants are playing right up through age grade with a number now playing Interprovincial rugby at U18 level and Senior levels including Ellen Boylan of Munster and Alman Atagamen who was named in the Ireland Women’s Squad for the Six Nations.
