Fixtures Confirmed For Opening Knock Out Rounds Of Munster Schools Boys Senior & Junior Cups

The fixtures for the opening rounds of the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup and Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup have been confirmed.

This season’s Senior Cup knock out action will kick off on the 14th of January.

Glenstal Abbey will host the newly qualified Kinsale Community School, while Ardscoil Rís will face Castletroy College.

Round Two will see two of our Semi Final qualifiers kick off as Crescent College Comprehensive meet St. Munchin’s College in Limerick.

In the second Semi Final qualifier 2024 champions Presentation Brothers College will face Bandon Grammar School in Virgin Media Park.

Elsewhere in Round Two, Christian Brothers College will face the winner of Glenstal Abbey v Kinsale Community School in the first Quarter Final eliminator while Rockwell College will take on either Ardscoil Rís or Casltetroy College in their eliminator.

Ardscoil Rís v Castletroy College – 14th January, Fitzgerald Park, 2pm

Glenstal Abbey v Kinsale Community School – 15th January, Dooradoyle, 2pm

Round 2

Crescent College Comprehensive v St. Munchin’s – 28th January, Thomond Park, 2pm

Presentation Brothers College v Bandon Grammar School – 28th January, Virgin Media Park, 2pm

Rockwell College v Winner of Ardscoil Rís v Castletroy College – 28th January, Fethard Town Park, 2pm

Christian Brothers College v Winner of Glenstal Abbey v Kinsale Community School – 29th January, Virgin Media Park, 2:30pm

The opening fixtures for this season’s Munster Schools Boys Junior Cup have also been confirmed with action kicking off on the 21st of January.

In Round One, Crescent College Comprehensive will entertain Kinsale Community School in Limerick, while in the second game of the day Castletroy College will meet Glenstal Abbey.

Round Two, once again, sees our Semi Final qualifiers kick off as Christian Brothers College face last season’s champions Bandon Grammar School in Virgin Media Park.

St. Munchin’s College will take on Rockwell College in the second Semi Final qualifier.

In the Quarter Final eliminators Ardscoil Rís will meet the winners of Crescent College and Kinsale CS, while in the second qualifier Presentation Brothers College will go head to head with Castletroy College or Glenstal Abbey.
