Club Notes | UL Bohemian Host 41st Annual Pat Lawler U13 Tournament

The winners of the Pat Lawler Cup, Garryowen
There was fantastic festivities in Annacotty earlier this month as UL Bohemian RFC hosted it’s 41st annual Pat Lawler Tournament.
Pat Lawler, father to Mossy Lawler Munster skills and assistant attack coach, played senior rugby for UL Bohemian RFC during the 60s and 70s,
Many say he was a magnificent player and his talents were well known across the province.
After his sudden death in 1983 the family agreed with the club that a cup should be played for in his honour.
This year saw teams from Nenagh Ormond, Garryowen, Old Crescent, Shannon, Ennis, Bruff, St Marys/Thomond, Clonmel, Young Munster/Richmond and Cashel take part.
After some fantastic competitive rugby, Garryowen ran out the cup winners in the end with Cashel taking the plate.
