Ciara O’Driscoll – Sacred Heart Clonakilty
“I suppose it has been a short season with the school this year but I think we are doing really well with club. We are training away with Clonakilty every week and we have been involved in both the league and cup, so hopefully we’ll be able to carry that success into our schools game tomorrow.
“Preparations have been really good. We have been training away at lunchtime and after school and it really shows the level of commitment people are making to the team this year.
“It would be unreal to win a third consecutive title. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and everyone in the school is really excited about it, so we hope we can make them proud in how we perform on the day.”
Grace Kingston – Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai
“It has been quite a short season but we have been training away and are really looking forward to the final now.
“Training has been going great. We have had a lot of new girls joining the squad and trying rugby for the first time, which has made training more interesting, but they have slotted in really well and we are now all hoping to put our best foot forward going into tomorrow’s final.
“Everyone in the school has been so supportive this year and they’re all really excited to make the trip to Virgin Media Park tomorrow.
“We have come a long way this year. Rugby is still quite new in the school so to reach a final is absolutely fantastic and we just hope to make the school proud come kick off tomorrow.”
