Age-Grade Interpros Preparations

Last weekend saw the 2025 PWC Age-Grade Interprovincial Championships kick off with the U18 Schools team taking on their Ulster counterparts.

Last month we caught up with head coaches Gerry Casey (U18 Boys Clubs), Sean Cronin (U18 Boys Schools) and Aiden McNulty (U19 Boys) as their squads entered their final residential camp in the University of Limerick before the competition.

The residential camps allow players to use the facilities in the High Performance Centre, benefit from pitch sessions with position specific training, as well as receive workshops on nutrition and sports psychology. It has given them a flavour of what life is like as a professional athlete.

The coaches spoke us through how preparations have been going, what the team have learn these past number of weeks and most importantly how have they grown and developed as a group going forward into this year’s championships.
