Munster face Crusaders at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday at 5pm.

There will be live coverage on TG4 and live commentary on Access Munster. Sign up to Access Munster for just €4 here.

In planning your trip to the stadium please take note of the below key information.

Turnstiles open at 3pm.

Tickets

Please note this game is a 40,885 sell-out and tickets will not be available to purchase at the grounds.

Please download your ticket before you arrive at Páirc Uí Chaoimh to avoid any technical issues or delays.

Screenshots of mobile tickets are no longer valid and cannot be accepted for entry to the stadium. See full information on SafeTix here.

Fan Zone

The Marina Market (Eircode: T12 YX76) is a 20-minute walk from Páirc Uí Chaoimh and will be hosting a free Family Fan Zone from 2pm with lots of activities for supporters of all ages pre-game.

There will be a Q&A with two players and the Munster March departs at 3.45pm, arriving at the ground at approx 4.05pm.

Munster mascot Oscar will also be there to meet and greet supporters.

Oscar will be meeting supporters at the Fan Zone in Marina Market ahead of the game.

Travel

Please note, matchday parking is not available on site.

We advise all supporters, where possible, to walk to the grounds as approach routes will be busy with regular commuting traffic, and routes closer to the stadium will be closed.

The area surrounding the access and egress points to the venue will be adequately lit with tower lighting.

Gardaí recommend that people walk to the ground from the City Centre where possible but there will also be a free shuttle bus service which will go from Victoria Road up to the old marquee site next to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The closer you park to the grounds the longer you will be held back afterwards by the Gardaí and Stewards to ensure safe traffic management flow and to prioritise the safe passage of pedestrians and cyclists.

There will be limited vehicular access to Centre Park Road, The Marina, Maryville and Monahan Road on matchday. There will be a one-way system maintained down Monahan Road across the Link Road and Centre Park Road to facilitate residents, local businesses, sporting groups, and shuttle buses.

Shuttle Bus Times

  • Pre-game: 1.30pm – 5.10pm
  • Post-game: 6.45pm – 8.30pm

Shuttle Bus Route

Pre Match – Departing Victoria Road, down Monahan Road and drop at former Marquee site.

Post Match – Departing former Marquee site, down Centre Park Road and drop at Victoria Road.

Park and Ride

We would encourage supporters to use the Black Ash Park and Ride which will be in operation until 9.30pm. By parking in Black Ash, supporters will be able to avail of the normal bus into the city and can then get the shuttlebus from Victoria Road out to the stadium.

Cork City Parking

Gardaí will operate a cordon near the stadium and local estates will be barriered to stop patrons from parking in front of residents’ houses.

Parking is available at:

Cork City Car Parks (Paul Street, North Main Street) – Paul Street is open until midnight & North Main Street until 9.30pm

Cork City Q Park Grand Parade – Click here to book.

Cork City Q Park City Hall – Click here to book.

Cork City Q Park Carroll’s Quay – Click here to book.

Cork City Q Park St. Finbarr’s – Click here to book.

Irish Rail

Irish Rail customers are advised that planned engineering works will take place from Saturday 3rd February to Monday 5th February on some services to Cork. Alterations and amendments will be in place including bus transfers. See more information on the Irish Rail website here.

Taxi Drop-Off

Taxis are to drop off at a designated area on the Victoria Road just before Marina Walk unless they are wheelchair taxis. Monahan Road is to be used where wheelchair taxis require access to the stadium environs.

Please follow the directions of Gardaí & Stewards when dropping off a person with accessibility needs.

Public Buses

Route 202 operates from Merchant’s Quay to Mahon Point and customers can board at Merchant’s Quay in the City Centre or at Mahon Point, to be dropped off at Ballintemple, adjacent to Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The stadium is a 5-minute walk from this stop. Route 202 will also be available from Ballintemple, Blackrock Road after the match to City Centre and Mahon Point.

Route 215 or 219 stops at the Churchyard Lane stop which is 10 minutes to the stadium.

The area surrounding the access and egress points to the venue will be adequately lit with tower lighting.

Big Screen

Please note that there is no big screen at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The big screen we booked for the South Africa A game had to be positioned behind the terrace. We were unable to open out the screen to its full capacity due to the weather conditions and its positioning.

After taking on board feedback from supporters, we explored positioning a big screen closer to the spectators for this game. However, this would have led to a reduction in capacity and the decision was made not to have a big screen in place for this match.

Munster March

Munster Rugby and adidas are inviting supporters to participate in the Munster March at 3.45pm ahead of the game.

The March will begin from our fanzone in the Marina Market.

We want Munster supporters of all ages to walk to Páirc Uí Chaoimh to help raise awareness of the club’s commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action.

A key focus of our strategy is to encourage supporters, where possible, to use more sustainable forms of transport – such as walking, cycling, carpooling and public transport, when travelling to our matches.

Cycling

Cork City Council have a number of bicycle parking amenities in the surrounding area with a map including all surrounding bicycle parking amenities here.

Accessible/Wheelchair Parking

Ticket holders with accessibility parking reserved already will be issued with details for the allocated parking access.
