26th October 2015 By Munster Rugby

Sponsor For A Day 2015

The closing date is this Wednesday for Bank of Ireland’s ‘Sponsor for a Day’ competition. Valued at EUR50,000, the competition provides businesses with the chance to sponsor Munster for January’s Champions Cup clash with Stade Francais at Thomond Park.

This unique prize opens up a national sponsorship opportunity to SMEs – something that might otherwise be beyond reach. Bank of Ireland has partnered with the Ray D'Arcy show on RTE for 'Sponsor for a Day 2015' which will provide companies that enter the competition with brand exposure on a prime time national radio show. Companies shortlisted for the prize and winners will be announced on the show in due course.

The prize also includes:

  • the winner's company logo on the front of the jerseys
  • pitch signage
  • corporate hospitality for ten guests
  • a match programme advert
  • photographs with the team
  • promotion from Bank of Ireland and Munster Rugby through press and media for all shortlisted companies and winners.

Now in its third year, last year's winners were Irish Yogurts with the previous year's winners being Ryan Stoves.

THIS WEDNESDAY IS THE FINAL DAY FOR ENTRIES. Enter at bankofireland.com/sponsorforaday. A shortlist of five companies will be announced on November 3rd at which point the competition will be opened to a public vote on bankofireland.com/sponsorforaday. The voting will close on November 24th and the winner will be announced on November 26th.

Participants and voters can also follow the campaign on Twitter: #sponsorforaday

The panel of judges include: Declan Galvin. Head of Small Business at Bank of Ireland, Peter O'Mahony – Munster Rugby and Ray D'Arcy – RTE.
