Following his arrival in the province last week, Australian international and former Bayonne captain Mark Chisholm was in attendance at last Friday night’s win over Treviso and continues to settle into his new environment in taking a full part in training yesterday.
After sustaining concussion in Munster’s pre-season encounter with London Irish, Francis Saili took a limited part in training as he follows his return to play protocols, while Tomás O’Leary continues to rehab a groin issue with Head Coach Anthony Foley expecting his return in the coming weeks. The scrum-half could feature for Dolphin during the PRO12 break.
Development prop Peter McCabe underwent surgery for a torn pectoral muscle on Monday and will remain sidelined for the coming months.
Also following their respective rehab programmes are; Billy Holland (ankle), Denis Hurley (ankle), Ronan O’Mahony (osteitis pubis) and Johnny Holland (hamstring).
