Munster ‘A’ Set For Nenagh This Thursday

This Thursday, Nenagh Ormond RFC will host Munster ‘A’s first interprovincial of the season with Mick O’Driscoll’s men facing Ulster Ravens in a 4:30pm kick-off. Admission is free.

The Munster-men’s first encounter since their British & Irish Cup quarter-final defeat to Doncaster Knights sees them return to Nenagh for the first time since September 2010. Ravens were also the opposition on that occasion with the likes of the then emerging Conor Murray, Simon Zebo and Dave Foley all helping Munster 'A' to a comprehensive 30-3 win.

Almost 5 years on, the county Tipperary club will now see a new group of emerging stars from the Munster academy and sub-academy ranks take to the field alongside representatives from the senior squad.

The sides last met in September 2012 when a try and conversion from JJ Hanrahan clinched a 19-17 win for the southern province in the final action of the game.

Munster 'A' v Ulster Ravens, Thursday March 19th 2015 at Nenagh Ormond RFC – KO 4:30pm.

Please note that admission is free to all so come along and show your support for the men in red!
