‘Kiss Cam’ & Match Day Info: Munster V Cardiff

Munster play Cardiff Blues in their first game at the new Irish Independent Park on Saturday night. With gates opening at 4:45pm you can check out Ireland v France live on the big screen from 5pm, and take part in the Valentine’s fun on our big screen ‘Kiss Cam’.

Keep your eyes peeled for ‘Kiss Cam’ which will be scanning the crowd at half time. The Cam is open to all – from Valentines lovers who want to share that passionate kiss or a peck on the cheek, to kids who want to give their mom a friendly hug. So pucker up and join in the Valentines festivities!


Tickets
Tickets are available to buy online here, on Ticketmaster, from the Ticket Offices in Irish Independent Park and Thomond Park.

On matchday tickets will be on sale outside the Dolphin Gate from 12 midday, and from 4.45pm at the Sunday’s Well gate.

Please note that there will be unallocated seating in the Stand.

Stand Upgrades will be on sale at the South end of the stand from gates open at 4.45pm – subject to availability. Adults €;10/Junior €;5



Parking
The Black Ash Park and Ride car park will be remain open until 10pm to accommodate supporters – €;3 per car. Click here for a map from Black Ash to Irish Independent Park.

Please respect the local residents by not parking illegally.

Any cars obstructing entrances/exits will be clamped and towed.



Event Information

The Ireland v France 6 Nations game will be televised on the big screen prior to kick-off

The Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir will also be performing before the game.

There will be activity for younger supporters at the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone, located at the Dolphin end.

You can buy your copy of the Irish Independent inside the grounds on the night, and the Irish Independent will also be helping supports make some noise during the game by giving out free thunder sticks to fans.

Again don’t forget, our Kiss Cam at half time will give people the opportunity to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day live on the big screen.

At half time, we look forward to welcoming the U11’s from Dungarvan RFC and Dunmanway RFC.

Match programmes will be on sale inside the grounds costing €;4.


Stadium Information

Life Style Sports will be open at the stadium, with a range of official Munster merchandise on sale.

A new range of food will be on sale – available from the new concession units at each end of the stand – including homemade Irish beef burgers, chicken salsa and guacamole tacos and BBQ marinated pulled pork!

Please note:
No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or any glass containers.
Do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations.
There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.


Weather in Cork
It is expected to be dry for the game, but cold!! So wrap up warm!
