In Pics: PRO12 Awards & Ulster Clash

A weekend of mixed fortunes saw Munster lose narrowly at home to Ulster in the final round of league action, yet also pick up two awards at this year’s RaboDirect PRO12 Awards.

Despite tries from Duncan Williams and Sean Dougall, handling errors and ill-discipline cost Munster dearly with Ulster edging out a two point victory in difficult playing conditions at a wet and very windy Thomond Park on Saturday night.

On Sunday the Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh played host to this year’s RaboDirect PRO12 Awards. With awards on the night for JJ Hanrahan (Golden Boot) and Rob Penney (Coach of the Year), the ceremony also recognised the fine league campaigns of Dave Kilcoyne and Casey Laulala who both made this year’s PRO12 Dream Team.
