Coaching Workshop At Old Crescent

Munster Rugby recently hosted a Stage 1 Coaching Workshop in Old Crescent RFC for all coaches from the club’s mini section.

In total 25 coaches were present on the night with 30 players from the Old Crescent U11 side participating in the session which was coordinated by former Munster player Eugene McGovern and Munster Rugby Officer Andy Brace.

The Stage 1 Workshop showed a wide range of sample fun games and skills related to the two General Movement Groups at Stage 1 ‘Players on the Ball’ and ‘Players in Space’. An introduction showing the concept and importance of physical literacy in the planning of each session was also included.
