Marymount Hospice Christmas Charity Cycle Launched

Munster Rugby have teamed up with Marymount Hospice to help launch the Annual Christmas Cracker Charity Cycle.

The event will take place on Saturday December 7th and Munster’s Sean Dougall, Casey Laulala and Denis Hurley were on hand to get the fundraiser rolling.

The Hospice needs to open a second palliative ward due to demand on their services which has seen their fundraising target jump from €;1.9million to €;2.6million annually, so this event will go a long way to help them reach their target.

Cyclicts of all experience levels are being encouraged to take part in the event which is being held on Saturday December 7th at Marymount in Bishopstown. Participants can register on the morning of the cycle from 9am at Marymount Hospice. A Fun Cycle (10km) will kick off at 9:30am and the 50km and 90km cycles will start at 10am.

Participants will be asked for a voluntary contribution on registration and all monies raised will go towards St. Patrick's Hospital and Marymount Hospice. The Facebook page for the event can be accessed here.
