Munster player Gerry Hurley recently ran a scrum half session at Christian Brothers College for players ranging from first year students to the Senior Cup Squad.

The workshop identified the core speciality skills of the scrum half with particular emphasis on the technical aspect of passing.

This was delivered by developing the different types of techniques which included static, movement and the ground pass.

Gerry identified key elements of game techniques based on his experiences playing professional rugby while also providing key pointers for the players and their development within the scrum half position.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Gerry Hurley for facilitating the workshop.
