Munster Staff Cycle For CROSS

Munster staff completed the final stage of the Rugby Legend’s cycle on Friday last when they took part in the in the Killarney to Mizen Head stage in support of CROSS.

Twelve staff members participated in the 120K cycle in conjunction with a team from Timberland as part of their annual fund-raising initiative.

The group gathered at the Glen Eagle Hotel, Killarney in wet and windy conditions and headed for Moll’s gap before making their way to Kenmare, then on to Bantry and finishing up at Mizen Head.

All proceeds raised will be donated to C.R.O.S.S. to assist in their cancer research at St. James Hospital.

The mission of the registered charity C.R.O.S.S. is to support Cancer Research and improve patient care at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Trinity College and St. James' Hospital. The charity does this through supporting the education and training of high quality medical and scientific students in their careers as young cancer researchers. Cross Rugby Legends was set up to raise funds for this vital cause.
